Welcome to the 2007/08 season at the Skaneateles Ski Club, Inc.   It’s been a busy summer and fall to get our club ready for its 49th consecutive season. The theme of my address to the membership at our annual meeting last may was infrastructure, preserving what we have and preparing for the next 50 years.  True to our word as a Board of Directors, we have done quite a job of repair, maintenance, and improvement since the snow melted.  Some highlights include, a new paint job on the T-bar towers, enlarging the snowmaking pond, installation of a new handle tow, and fixed everything that was broken, well almost everything.  Additionally, we purchased 2 new to us snow cats, another Piston Bully to do the grooming along with a Sprite to move things around the hill.  We are all looking forward for the season to begin and can’t wait to see you at the hill!
